Feynman Cluster

Physics department maintains a Linux cluster named in the honor of legendary Princeton physicist Richard P. Feynman. It runs Linux based on RedHat/Scientific-Linux/PU_IAS RHEL7 distributions. It has a SLURM batch management system, primarily intended for research. A dedicated web server hosts personal and group sites exported from feynman cluster.

Feynman cluster maintains binary compatibility with Princeton's the central research computing facility. We use the same Linux distribution, the same addon computational packages, the same CAS for authentication, and the same SLURM batch manager/job-scheduler. We have merged most of the common information on the central research computing web site above. Here we provide only a few department-specific notes. Some of the information given here might be dated.
